It began in 2004 when founder, Colin Jones, discovered the real colour of his parachute after a previous career in Investment Banking.

Parachute is a film development and production company based in London. Our aim is to create the right conditions for developing and producing original, commercial, character driven genre films.

All of our current projects have attracted deals with leading industry companies - including Yari Film Group, Pathé UK, Capitol Films, the UK Film Council, Samuelson Productions.

Parachute is a deliberately writer-friendly environment. We pride ourselves on the quality of our scripts and are fortunate to work with some highly respected names in the industry – Timothy Harris (TRADING PLACES, FALLING DOWN), Ben Miller (ARMSTRONG & MILLER), and Will Davies (FLUSHED AWAY, JOHNNY ENGLISH) amongst others.
